Blast to the Past...Round 2
OK so I know it has been a little bit since I began the task of catching everyone up to speed in my journey of life. So without further ado, let's get started and see if I can catch us all the way up with this post! Now that may be a challenge!
So we left off with me getting accepted at The University of Texas at Tyler! Who-hoo! Go Patriots! :)
Stay tuned for a entire post dedicated to telling you all the entire story of how Daniel and I met and the begins of our relationship. For now, just know that we are still together, and going strong! :)
Any who, continuing on. Well after I graduated and moved into the working world I began to settle in out here in East Texas. For whatever reason, I'm just drawn to these piney woods! :) A few months go by, and I get some of the greatest news ever...my sister informed me...that I was going to be...an AUNT!!!!!!! My Sissy was going to have a baby!!!! And she did December 2010 my beautiful baby niece also joined our crazy family! Her name is Tinley Kay Ann, but most of the time I call her TK! This is a picture of us at the hospital when she is hours old!
So we left off with me getting accepted at The University of Texas at Tyler! Who-hoo! Go Patriots! :)
So off I went! Keep in mind it is August 2006! Moved into the dorm my first year, and met many amazing people that I still love and cherish to this day! One of the first of many awesome people is my wonderful friend Kristen, I call her K. Blanch! We had lots of many fun memories! We had the same major all through school so we had many, many classes together! I introduce her now, because she will come back into play later! :) This is a picture of us at her wedding November 2010!
So here I am, this little fish in this big sea of college just studying hard, and working my butt off! Oh I should mention that I also began really my first real job I have ever had when I went to Tyler for school! It has been the most rewarding job ever! I say it has been, because I am proud to say that I am still employed there! It will be five years this August! Amazing! :)
OK so any who, back on track! Next thing I know I have this very interesting meeting of another young lady who turned out to be beautiful both inside and out! Everyone please meet, Ms. Shannon Marie! And true to form, I have a nickname for her as well, Slick! LOL Shannon and I hit it off so well that for the next four years (2006-2010) we lived together! Again, I don't have enough time, or space to tell and explain the many memories, laughs, cries, awkward situations, and spiritual conversations this girl and I had! Just like sisters! This is a picture of her and I a couple of months ago! She just got married this March 2011! Sadly I don't have a picture of us on that beautiful day!
So my years there at UT Tyler FLEW by and before I knew it I was starting my Senior year (my last two semesters) at college! Unbelievable! So just to update everybody on the time frame it is now January 2009.
OK so my story gets really good right about here, however it is quite long! I'm thinking that I will just introduce the next person, and save another blog post for the entire story!
As I sat at work one January day, I received a text from my dear friend K. Blanch. She asked if I would like to help out with a Disciple Now (youth retreat weekend thing) that coming weekend. I said yes to helping out! Got there that weekend and met the youth director that I had talked to through email and text a little the week before. Upon meeting him, I knew he was different almost immediately! Please welcome Daniel to this party...
This was our very first picture together! It was a couple of weeks after we had met! :)

OK so as Daniel and I really began our relationship I also began the last two semesters of my college career! These seemed to be the hardest yet, and I am so very thankful for my Jesus, my family, and of course for Daniel in the strength and encouragement they all gave me as I trudged through! Before I knew it, it was December 2009 and I was graduating from COLLEGE! Unbelievable!
This is me with my beautiful family the day that I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies! :)
Like I had mentioned above, I am currently still working at the office I worked at all through school. However, I was able to work my way up! I was very fortunate for my employer to offer me a full time position after I graduated! After much prayer, I decided to take the position! And it could not have been a better decision I could've made to stay here! I absolutely love my job, and enjoy the people that I work with. Most importantly I love the mission that we get to take part in. Just to give you some details, I work for a hospice. We have the opportunity of being included in people's lives at such a vulnerable time, and to be able to provide the resources we have to them to make that part in life as peaceful as possible, makes it completely worth it. It's a very rewarding experience to work in the field that I do!
Any who, continuing on. Well after I graduated and moved into the working world I began to settle in out here in East Texas. Well really I guess that about sums it up! I feel like I'm missing lots of things, but those are really the majors! Here's just a few more things and then I'll call it a quits...
I am a full time, real world, East Texas working girl!
I spend as much time as possible with my love, Daniel!
I love the sounds of my family member's voices when I haven't heard from them in a while!
I even more so, love to see their faces and update them on the crazy things going on in my side of the world!
I smile so big when my sister sends me my daily picture of my beautiful niece and hearing about the new things she begins to do!
I enjoy being a book worm, and curling up with a good book!
I love spending time with Daniel's youth kids, serving and feeding them as much as I can!
I love to play sports, and still manage to hit the court and field every once in a while!
I am continually praising my Lord for the many blessings that He has so graciously blessed me with! But a simple thank you isn't enough! I hope to continue to thank Him day to day by living my life devoted to Him! I have nothing more to give but my all to Him for the many things that He has done and provided for me!
Until next time!
LOVES!

Blast to the Past
As I said in my previous post I am going to begin to build the background and foundation of my life, and what has lead me to where I am currently. I am very honored that I get to introduce everyone to some of the most important, influential people in my life! I can almost guarantee at this point that you will become familiar with these names and faces as you follow my blog. So let me bring everyone up to speed. This may be quite a long post so bare with me. The best way I can think of to catch everybody up is to go through the major events by years. Now this should be fun! Drum roll please....
First off, I was brought into this world to my wonderful parents, whom I only know as Mama and Daddy, as their second beautiful baby girl. Which could only make me the little sister to Tiffany, who I have already mentioned before, but we all call her Sissy.
I don't know that I have many memories to share from this time, not that I could remember any. However, I don't doubt that my Mama, Daddy and Sissy would jump at the opportunity to share some of those funny stories.
Well, as us girls grew older we moved right on into the dance world.
This particular dance routine I have to explain. This number was titled "Little But I'm Loud". That phrase still rings true to this day! :) We also have the privledge of having this routine on video. I so wish I could put it on here, because in the video it is 'loud' and clear who Kameron is! You definitely can hear me over ANYBODY!! And that's no exaggeration!
Well we did the dance thing for a while, and then there was sports!
It is from here that my softball career began! The many practice nights, and weekends of traveling all over the state for tourneys! The many trips home from softball tournaments sitting in the old blue truck as Coach, I mean Daddy, proceeded to continue to coach from his driver seat! :)
Oh I most definitely can not forget when the glasses were introduced! Oh how lovely they are!
A few more years go by...and then there were three!
Then little brother Trey, Trey-Man or TJ, joined us for this party of life! It is actually a rather cool story how he came to join our family. For now I will wait on sharing the details!
Here's just a quick picture of my wonderful parents that I am blessed to have! You haven't seen them yet so here is my Mama and Daddy!
Also one other small tid bit of information. When I turned 9 I was able to start attending a camp that my sister was already going to, Camp Deer Run. You may hear more about this later on too. It is a place that is very near and dear to my heart!
Any who, back on track...well I got older and bigger but the glasses got smaller. :)
And then some magical miracle transformation happened in between my 7th and 8th grade years of school! I lost my glasses!!!! Well I didn't lose them, I just got contacts! :) And I started to lose some of that baby fat! YES!
My softball career had continued and I was always practicing or playing in some tournament. But during middle school, my volleyball career began competitively!
And then....there was high school! This picture is actually Homecoming my freshman year!
High school continued and all the madness that comes and goes along with being in high school, going to church, playing sports, going to camp, and mission trips and sport camps.
This was on a mission trip in Piedra Negres, Mexico.
Yes, not only did my parents do it all with my sister, they had round two with me! :) And have no fear, I kept them on their toes the whole way!
This particular picture is one from Camp Deer Run and if you notice, I have hospital bands on, and the blood on my jeans?! Yeah, like I said, I kept Mama and Daddy on their toes! I'm sure I'll explain this one later on too! :)
At this point I have to introduce a new name and a new face. It is in high school that I developed a friendship with my best friend, Courtney! There is really not enough room on this blog for me even to begin to tell about the inside jokes, the laughs, the memories that I have with this girl! I'm sure you will hear more about her later on too!
Well high school continued on, and there was more softball!
And there was more volleyball!
Oh and you most definitely can't forget about the homecoming dances and the proms! :)
Well Senior year came! And I could not believe that we were all graduating from high school! I remember when Sissy was graduating, and now I was about to do the same thing! Oh my word!
So with Graduation around the corner the next thing on the list is what? College of course! I had my list of colleges that appealed to me, and Mama Sissy and I had taken a road trip to visit one. As soon as I stepped on that campus I knew that this is where I was supposed to be! Then the next thing I know I receive a letter of acceptance from The University of Texas at Tyler!
So off to East Texas I went! Tyler is where I would spend the next 3 and a half years working and studying hard!
OK, so I am thinking I am going to have to stop there for now! Man!!!! That was a fast and furious run through of about 18 years and covering just the surface of events that had happened! Oh but there's so much more to go to finally reach where I am now! Hopefully you will stay tuned and join me back for the rest of the background!
Be back soon! Much loves!

Hello Blogosphere!
Well I have a confession to make, right out of the gates. Although I am a very tech savvy girl, this is my first time to delve into the world of blogging. I also have to admit that it is due to my beautiful sister, Tiffany, and her blogging skills, that she has influenced me to jump right in to this world of blogging. So I ask for patience and perseverance with me as I learn the ins and outs of all the blogosphere has to offer.
So since this is my first time at this, I'm real unsure as to how I start this thing off?! I guess I will start with who I am, and why I am here. How does that sound?
Who am I? Kameron. That's about it. OK I guess that's not just all. :) Really those two questions actually kind of go together. I hope that as you pick up with me where I am in my journey of life that you will have the opportunity to learn who I was, who I am, and who I aspire to be. I guess this sets me, and my followers up for the first couple of posts that I should have. I guess I should give you a few posts to build background and give you a starting foundation of my life, then pick up with my life up to this point, and then you all will join me in creating the rest of my journey as we continue on.
Not going to lie...I'm a little nervous about this! My first official post! :) I think I can get used to this!
LOVES!
